We are extremely delighted to announce that His Holiness Gunagrahi das Goswami will again be visiting ISKCON Scarborough on Friday - 22nd July 2011. Program starts at 6.30pm sharp.
Gunagrahi Das Goswami
A disciple of Srila Prabhupada, Gunagrahi das Goswami was living in Buffalo, New York when he first came across the Hare Krishna movement in 1969. For more than a decade, he practiced Krsna consciousness before adopting a taking sannyasa in 1983. Formerly a professional musician and percussionist, Gunagrahi das Goswami is well-known for his engaging style of kirtan with wonderfully unique instruments. With regular visits to India and North and South America, Gunagrahi das Goswami travels the world to share the teachings of Krsna consciousness. He is particularly popular in Argentina, where he has established a popular kirtan yoga ensemble. This is Maharaj’s second visit to Toronto this year!
We invite you,your family and friends for the program this Friday as well for our regular programs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The programs on Friday and Saturday starts at 6.30pm and Sunday at 10.30am.
