ISKCON Scarborough's 6th Snan Yatra will take place on Friday - August 3rd, 2018 from 7 pm onwards.

This grand Snan Yatra is a precursor to ISKCON Scarborough's 6th Annual Jagannath Festival that will take place on Saturday - August 18th, 2018 at the Milliken Park in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.

The Snan Yatra - bathing ceremony has been going on since the time of the carving of the 'Dharu-brahman' Deities of Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladeva, and Subhadra Devi in Sri Purushottam Kshetra (Jagannath Puri) thousands of years ago, commemorating Their sacred appearance for the devotees.


Program Schedule - 3rd August 2018:

6.45 pm - Tulasi Arti
7 pm - 8 pm - Grand Abhishek on the deities of Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladeva, and Subhadra Devi
8 pm - 8.30 pm - Arti
8.30 pm - 8.45 pm - Announcements & updates on the upcoming Jagannath festival
8.45 pm - 9 pm - 1 round group chanting of Hare Krsna Maha Mantra
9 pm - Free Vegetarian Prasadam
